The Lord’s Prayer was given by Jesus in response to his disciples who asked “Teach us to pray.” This perfect prayer which the Lord gave us is found in Matt. 6:9-13, during the Sermon on the Mount. A similar prayer is found in Luke 11:2-4.
This color of this candle brings to mind the heartfelt words of our prayer; the colored block symbolizes the petitions of the heart. The 3 wicks are for The Trinity… The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.
